In group D, Benin (3rd, 3 points) and Senegal (2nd, 4 points) are neck and neck in the standings and will compete for a place among the first two in the group, synonymous with qualification for the final phase of the competition.
The task could be easier for the Democratic Republic of Congo (2nd, 4 points), which faces Botswana (4th, 0 points), the first nation eliminated from the competition with no unity and especially no goals scored in two matches. Note that the second in this group will face Algeria in the round of 16.
