Archery, leatherwork, creation and solidarity: everything in Camille Cabrol’s journey seems linked by an invisible common thread.
The 26-year-old Millavoise won the title of French 3D shooting champion last August, having already won the title of French natural shooting vice-champion in June.
“I discovered archery during a vacation when I was 12”traces the archer who has since been licensed within the SO Millau Arc club. Camille trains at least once a week and also supervises the younger ones.
“Archery is an individual sport but one that is practiced with othersassures the archer. It requires concentration but being with friends is also very nice.”
In addition to her sporting results, Camille is committed to the transmission of her sport. She is also following a one-year training course to obtain her federal coaching diploma.
Archery also led her to find her professional path. Two years ago, she founded Phage leather goods. “I was a laboratory assistant in an infectious environment and I wanted to changeretraces the Millavoise. I had liked working with leather for a long time, I had been practicing it for around ten years.”
She then followed a professionalization contract in leather goods and is currently completing one in the field of glove making. His creations mainly concern bags and archery equipment.
