Third place: Jonathan Burkardt (Eintracht Frankfurt)
How important the 25-year-old is for the Eagles is particularly visible in his absence. Since Burkardt’s injury, Eintracht have only scored two goals in four games, and coach Dino Toppmöller does not have a worthy representative available. The SGE is longing for the return of its goalgetter in January, even though the signing of Younes Ebnoutalib (22) was secured this Sunday.
No wonder, after all, Burkardt has an impressive rating. He scored eight goals in ten Bundesliga games. Burkardt is characterized not only by his goal threat, but also by his qualities as a worker. The 21 million euro transfer fee that went to 1. FSV Mainz before the season was definitely worth it.
Second place: Deniz Undav (VfB Stuttgart)
Deniz Undav simply cannot be written off. The Swabians were repeatedly accused in the summer of not having signed an equivalent replacement for Nick Woltemade (23/Newcastle United). But with an Undav in top form, such a replacement doesn’t seem to be necessary.
The 29-year-old has already scored eight goals in eleven Bundesliga games. Undav leads the VfB offensive and shines as an important link between midfield and attack. If the right-footer maintains his form, participation in the 2026 World Cup should also be possible.
First place: Harry Kane (FC Bayern)
There is no way around Harry Kane. He already has 19 goals to his name and added three more goals. He managed all of this in 15 Bundesliga games. The Englishman cannot be replaced simply because of his goal rate.
Kane doesn’t just act as an enforcer. The right-footed player regularly drops into his own half to pick up balls and show off his playmaking qualities, only to then reappear in the box in time. Kane is an asset to the Bundesliga. And the best player of the current season.
