Platz 3: Péter Gulácsi (RB Leipzig)
The talented Maarten Vandevoordt (23) has been trying to displace the top dog for a year and a half. But Gulácsi prevailed again at the beginning of the current season. The new coach Ole Werner can see himself confirmed, because the 35-year-old is once again squeaky clean.
Although there was a 6-0 defeat in Munich at the start of the season, Gulácsi only had to score 13 times in 14 further games. He kept a clean sheet seven times. Remarkable: The Hungarian caught or defended every opposing cross that left his goal.
2nd place: Daniel Heuer Fernandes (Hamburger SV)
Heuer Fernandes also had to assert himself in preparation, but was left behind by Bayern loanee Daniel Peretz (25). The completely right decision by Merlin Polzin, because the promotion keeper is significantly involved in Hamburg’s overwintering above the line.
Heuer Fernandes is also one of the better keepers in the Bundesliga, collecting an impressive 869 ball contacts in the first half of the season (for comparison: Gulácsi 594) and therefore bears a great deal of responsibility for the Rothosen’s performance. He masters this task with flying colors – and Heuer-Fernandes has already saved a few points on the line.
1st place: Marvin Schwäbe (1. FC Cologne)

The other promotion keeper is the great support at FC. Before the season, new coach Lukas Kwasniok made the 30-year-old captain, so Schwäbe also shoulders a lot of responsibility.
Just like Heuer Fernandes, the former DFB junior is constantly involved in the game with the ball and has even provided an assist for a goal. Schwäbe also shows great saves week after week and is extremely strong on the line, especially when taking shots from close range.
