Sportske Novosti (Croatia) indicates that the very young and talented central defender Leon Jakirovicwould like to leave his club, Dinamo Zagreb. A loan would not be possible, a transfer would therefore be on the agenda again after this summer’s episode.
Indeed, several clubs were interested in the player. In addition to the giants Juventus and AC Milan, Club Brugge, among others, had expressed their interest, but no transfer ultimately came to fruition. Dinamo then retained the player, who was integrated into the first team but did not have any playing time.
He mainly played with the U19s and only appeared sporadically with the first team. This situation led to new discussions with those around him. According to the media, Bruges would therefore return to the charge. The player is looking for a club capable of offering him a clear development plan and regular playing time.
But the Belgians will have to deal with several large foreign clubs who continue to monitor his situation. AC Milan, Inter, Juventus and Manchester City are cited as potential candidates. Jakirović’s market value is said to be around 150,000 euros, but the final amount is expected to depend on the conditions set by Dinamo Zagreb.
Bruges has not yet made an official offer, but the winter transfer window offers the possibility of new negotiations.
