Bretonnes Badminton Duo Qualify for Euro Team | Cloteaux-Foucault & Desmots-Chacun

European Women’s Team Championship (qualifications) in Druskininkai (Lithuania)

This is a plan that went almost without a hitch for the Blues, this week in Druskinikai (Lithuania), during qualifying for the European Women’s Team Championship. 4-1 against Israel, 5-0 against the Lithuanian locals and 4-1 against Poland, this Sunday, to validate the ticket for the final phase in Turkey, in February 2026.

Received 4/5!

For their first with the senior Blues, Bretillian Romane Cloteaux-Foucault and Finistère Kathell Desmots-Chacun held their place. The first, N.114 in the world rankings, was surprised (17-21, 19-21) by the Israeli Heiman (N.179) before stringing together two very convincing successes.

In women’s doubles, Desmots-Chacun (N.138) entered the fray in two matches 2 and 3 for as many victories!

Enough to claim to be part of the Turkish adventure next year, even if the composition of the Blue could well evolve.
