O Red Bull Bragantino signed one of the most promising names in South American football. This is the Uruguayan midfielder Ignacio Sosa Hospitaljust 22 years old, who was at Peñarol. The young man was one of the highlights of the celestial team that won the last U20 World Cup, played in Argentina, in 2023. The values were not disclosed, but it is estimated that the athlete cost R$20 million.
The idea is for Sosa to be another option for the team’s midfield. The young man began his career in the youth divisions of Centro Atlético FênixUruguayan football association. In 2023, he was signed by Penãrol, one of the most traditional teams in the country, for 629 thousand euros. It was wearing the Carboneros shirt that the boy became known internationally and competed in the Libertadores. Sosa made 76 appearances.
Ignacio Sosa will be the fifth Uruguayan player in the cast. Arena dreams
