Bogota International made its first official act this Saturday, before starting to compete in the League and the BetPlay 2026 Cup. The new club inherits the quota left by The Equity, name that disappears after 23 years in Colombian professional soccer.
The first thing that was known was his starting shirt. It will be white, with a black stripe on the chest and another thinner one in a gold tone, like its neck. It was developed by the Umbro firm, which returns to Colombian football after not having any club in 2025.

The explanation of the colors of the Internacional de Bogotá shirt
“The shirt is white, representing unity; black, representing the strength and ambition we have, and gold, to represent everything that Bogotá means,” said the president of Inter Bogotá, Nicolás Maya. The alternative clothing will be presented at the beginning of next year.
The team’s shield, which had already been presented this week, has a golden background and on the front, an eagle, a bird representative of the symbols of the capital, with its wings spread to symbolize the eastern hills.
The club announced that those who buy the season ticket for the first semester will receive the club t-shirt for free.
The first reinforcements of Internacional de Bogotá
At the presentation ceremony, Maya confirmed the club’s first two reinforcements: the midfielder Larry Vasquez33 years old and an outstanding time with Millonarios, with which he won the 2022 Colombia Cup, the 2023-I League and the 2024 Super League. He comes from playing for Amazonas in Brazil and also went through Academia FC, Llaneros, Patriotas, Tigres de México, América de Cali, Deportes Tolima, Junior and Bucaramanga.

Internacional de Bogotá enters very committed to relegation in 2026: it has, without counting what the newly promoted Jaguares and Cúcuta Deportivo do, which are starting from scratch, the second worst average, 1.01, the product of 79 points in 78 games.
