Bodrum FK-Amed: Post-Match Tension & Reactions

Bodrum FK drew 0-0 with Amed Sportive Activity, which it hosted at home, in the 18th week match of the Trendyol 1st League.

Before the match, a fight broke out between the fans of the two teams. Fans threw glass bottles at each other, police teams intervened and calmed the parties. The tension between the fans leaving the stadium after the match continued.

Fans gathered on Hasan Reşat Öncü Street cheered each other.

Police and gendarmerie teams prevented the tension from escalating by setting up barricades among the fans. A Social Incident Response Vehicle (TOMA) was also kept ready in the region.

After a long effort by the teams, the buses of the visiting team’s fans left the area amid intense security measures.

On the other hand, the window of the guest team’s bus was broken as a result of a stone thrown. Police teams accompanied the buses with fans and football players to Milas district.

Law enforcement officers took precautions in the city center for a while and returned to normal after the events calmed down.
