Portland is in 10th place in the Western Conference, with just 38.7% winning percentage. In addition, they suffered a series of three consecutive defeats. Recently, they were beaten by the Clippers (103-119). Before that, they lost to Orlando (106-110) and Detroit (102-110). Their attack is in clear decline. On average, it scores 117.1 points, but the decline is evident. Part of the reason for that is injuries to Grant, Henderson and Holiday. Avdija and Sharpe carry the team on their shoulders, but many opponents have figured out how to counter them.
Of course, the Blazers will try to play quickly. This is their only asset. It’s hard to say if they’ll be able to push Boston into a higher tempo.
