Biella Basketball: Debt Restructuring Approved – Future Outlook

The Court’s ruling “positively concludes a long and complex process”.

The press release

Pallacanestro Biella announces that the Court of Biella has approved the debt restructuring agreements, opening a new phase of stability and perspective for the Company and for the sporting and social project that it represents.
The homologation sentence, published on 17 December 2025, positively concludes a long and complex journey, built thanks to daily work, responsible choices and constant commitment.
This result is the fruit of a silent but decisive community: people who, over the last three years, have continued to support the Pallacanestro Biella project, believing in the social value of sport, even when the context was difficult and the media satisfaction was limited.
At the center of the approved plan is the continuity of sporting and youth activity, understood as a space for growth, education and inclusion for children and for the entire local sporting community.
On this journey, the link with Biella Next was essential. His activity represented the operational heart of the project, guaranteeing constant presence in the gyms, attention to families, training of coaches and authentic rooting in the sports community. Without this daily work, carried out with passion and discretion, the recovery process would not have been able to achieve today’s outcome.
Pallacanestro Biella also wishes to express sincere and sympathetic thanks to the professionals who accompanied the Company in all the legal and technical phases of the procedure, placing competence, rigor and sensitivity at the service of a complex and delicate project, in particular to the lawyer Andrea Basso, for his constant legal and procedural supervision, and to Dr. Piero Sidro, for the fundamental work of attestation and analysis, carried out with attention, independence and profound knowledge of the corporate and sporting reality.

Finally, a special thank you goes to all those who continued to be there: sponsors and supporters, volunteers, coaches, managers, athletes, families, and those who, even without fanfare, chose to support a project that sees sport not just as competition, but as social responsibility and educational commitment.

Pallacanestro Biella now looks to the future with renewed awareness, determined to continue a path that has a clear objective: to continue to be a point of reference for the local sporting community, through young people, sport and the values that unite them”.
