A Football Observatory study released this week listed the best young players playing outside of Europe’s top five leagues (England, Spain, Italy, France and Germany).
The list considers athletes born from 2006 onwards. Three well-known Brazilian football players appeared in the top 10.
The best placed was Pedrinho, from Zenitin sixth place. The attacker, revealed by Corinthianswas sold to the Russian club in 2023, when he was 17 years old.
A little below Pedrinho, in seventh place, is Rayan, 19 years old, from Vascowho shone for the Rio de Janeiro club and helped the team become a finalist in the Brazilian Cup.
Closing the top 10 is Argentine Álvaro Montoro, from Botafogo. The 18-year-old young man appeared in the Velez Sarsfield.
Among the names on the list is also the Portuguese Rodrigo Mora, from Porto. First place is the Dutchman Givairo Read, from Feyenoord19 years old.
