DECLARATIONS

Jota González (Benfica coach): “It was a game in which we had a lot of casualties, some young players had the opportunity to participate in this challenge. In the 1st half we alternated very good moments with others that were not so good. It was a game with a lot of mistakes. In the 2nd half, we found regularity in the game, in the counterattack. We were better in defense and that helped us win the game comfortably.”

Reinier Taboada (Benfica left-back): “On a collective level it was a good game. We made the difference in the 2nd half, we came out more focused and got the lead on the scoreboard. We have a good squad and young players who helped. We are working well and we will do our best to win the next game.”
