José Mourinho had great news in preparation for Benfica’s reception to Estoril, scheduled for next Saturday. Sidny Lopes Cabral was part of the Red squad for the first time, on his debut day at the Benfica Campus.

The Cape Verdean international underwent physical tests before taking part in a morning session that was divided between the gym and the pitch. The Eagles’ captain, Nicolàs Otamendi, welcomed Sidny Cabral, whose signing from Estrela da Amadora was made official on Tuesday. The 23-year-old winger signed a contract until 2030 and was protected by a release clause worth 60 million euros.
