FC Bayern star Kingsley Coman changed clubs last summer. He started successfully at Al-Nassr and impressed mainly as a scorer.

Munich – Kingsley Coman, once a symbol of Bayern’s golden era, has opened a new chapter in his career in the summer of 2025. After ten years at FC Bayern Munich, the French winger moved to Al-Nassr in Saudi Arabia. Cristiano Ronaldo’s club paid a transfer fee of between 24 and 30 million euros, and Coman signed a three-year contract until 2028.

Coman has been part of the record champions since 2015 – initially on loan from Juventus Turin, then signed permanently from 2017. In 339 competitive games he scored 72 goals and prepared 71 goals. His winning goal in the 2020 Champions League final against Paris Saint-Germain, which secured Munich’s sixth trophy in the club’s history, will be particularly unforgettable.

Ex-Bayern star impresses at Ronaldo club

During his decade at FCB, Coman collected an impressive nine German championships, three DFB Cup victories, six Super Cup successes, the UEFA Super Cup and the Club World Cup title. Despite recurring injuries, the Frenchman was an influential figure on the left wing. Until his move, he was one of the longest-serving players in the squad alongside Manuel Neuer and Joshua Kimmich.

Coman immediately found a connection at Al-Nassr – both sportily and culturally. On the offensive, he now plays alongside superstars such as Cristiano Ronaldo, Joao Félix and ex-Bayern colleague Sadio Mané. Coach Jorge Jesus relies on Coman’s speed and dribbling strength – qualities that have already distinguished him in Europe. The first games suggest that the Parisian is giving his new team both a goal threat and structure – a gentle but powerful new start in a new world of football

FC Bayern said goodbye to Coman in November 2025 with great thanks and applause in front of a full house in the Allianz Arena. Sports director Max Eberl spoke of a “uniquely successful time together”. Coman himself wrote on Instagram that he would “always carry the love, passion and loyalty of the fans in his heart.” At the age of 29, Kingsley Coman has gone from being a Munich title guarantor to a global export star – and is proving once again at Al-Nassr that his insatiable ambition knows no limits.
