35 thousand dollars fine a Desmond Bane of the Orlando Magic for having threw the ball at OG Anunoby in the fourth period of Sunday’s game against the New York Knicks, this was the NBA’s decision.
Bane performed at Madison Square Garden on Sunday A rather curious “game”.. After picking up a loose ball, just missed by Anunoby who was unable to close to the basket on the counterattack due to the defensive intervention of Jalen Suggsthe former Grizzlies guard threw it forcefully onto the back of the Knicks winger who had meanwhile ended up off the court.
Rather surprised, OG Anunoby hadn’t even reacted except to ask Desmond Bane for explanations. The episode sparked a small scuffle among the players who, however, remained calm with the intervention of the referees. Whistles who then decided for a technical foul against Bane.
In the same game, the Magic lost Franz Wagner to an ankle injury in the first quarter of the game, when he was knocked over by Knicks center Ariel Hukporti as he tried to volley a pass from Anthony Black to the basket on the break.
