Archery: Aulnay Archers 2025 Season Recap

Sunday, direction Niort, where nearly 160 archers met in the Venise Verte gymnasium, at the Archers Niortais. Pascale Praille (senior lady, bare bow) and Anthony Hillairet (senior man 1, compound bow) got the ball rolling from the first morning start, before being joined in the afternoon by Mathis Gratadoux, entered in the U18 recurve category.

The harvest of podiums quickly followed. Pascale Praille climbed onto the second step of the podium, while Mathis Gratadoux took first place, along with obtaining the Salle Jaune star badge, a federal distinction recognizing his performance. Anthony Hillairet, for his part, finished just off the podium with a very good fourth place, a new personal best and the Salle Rouge star badge.

At the same time, another group of Aulnaysian archers competed in Marans, among the Archers du Bois Dinot, during the last start of the weekend bringing together around 150 participants. In senior 1 recurve bow, Christopher Lecullier took 9th place and leaves with the Salle Vert star badge. The seniors 3 also made an impression. Éric Bernard ranks 11e with a new personal best and also obtained the Salle Vert star badge. Guy El Haïk finishes 12thealso with a personal best, while Hervé Buret completes the Aulnaysian delegation.

These results end a year rich in performances for the Archers d’Aulnay, who were able to carry the club’s colors high on the regional shooting ranges. The archers are now meeting the public for the traditional Christmas Shoot, scheduled for Saturday December 27 in the afternoon, at the college gymnasium, before tackling 2026 with drawn bows and intact ambitions.
