Anna Magnusson had the best starting position of the Swedes before today’s hunt start. After Friday’s podium in the sprint, she started second, 17 seconds behind Finland’s Suvi Minkkinen.
Then she followed up yesterday’s success.
Magnusson had a strong race, had the momentum with him and then shot full in the last shot.
– It’s still a different matter when you know in the last shot that now you have to sit for third place. So I’m very pleased that I managed it, she says to SVT.
Öberg climbed hard
Then she managed to grab third place – which is her fourth individual podium in her career.
– It has been more than expected, but I am still not satisfied, I am looking forward to the future.
The victory was taken by Lisa Hauser from Austria after an impressive final lap where she passed Suvi Minkkinen. The Finn, who went out first, had control of the race but lost power at the end and came in 2.5 seconds behind Hauser.
Ella Halvarsson was seventh and Elvira Öberg finished in 14th place.
Hanna Öberg, on the other hand, came in ninth – after picking up 50 places and doing the fastest race of all.
– It feels good that I can put that sprint behind me and do a good race here today, says Hanna Öberg.
– It was tight there at the beginning, but it still feels like I was able to work methodically throughout the race.
