An error on the match sheet which restarts the fight behind the Girondins de Bordeaux

It’s Christmas before time for Angoulême Charente FC, who, after their defeat in November against Stade Poitevin (2-0), finally sees success attributed to them. The Charentais club had submitted a request for evocation after noticing an error on the match sheet (FMI). According to Foot Amateurthe federal commission for regulations and litigation ruled in favor of the Angoumoisins. With this decision, Angoulême, which was five points behind Bordeaux, now has only two.

The player listed as Mamadou Diaby on the computerized match sheet was in reality Mamadou Diakhaby. Coming into play at the end of the match, Diakhaby was confused with Diaby due to an entry error on the FMI, the two players following each other in alphabetical order. Mamadou Diaby did not appear on the match sheet.
