RSC Anderlecht will play one more time in the Jupiler Pro League in 2025. The Besnik Hasi team will take on Sporting Charleroi on Boxing Day. Kick-off takes place at 8:45 PM in Lotto Park.
Two players who will certainly not kick off at Anderlecht are Ilay Camara and Mario Stroeykens. Both players were initially scheduled to travel to the African Cup of Nations, but soon returned to Brussels with an injury.
The Anderlecht website stated that Stroeykens and Camara will have recovered from their injuries at the end of January. “That is a cautious prediction. It could also be that those boys will be back earlier. They are not taking any risks, but it does not affect our mercato,” noted The Newspaper from the mouth of Hasi.
In addition, two players are absent against Charleroi due to an injury. “Then you will of course also miss Marco Kana and Augustinsson. The intention is for those two to join the internship. Their rehabilitation is going in the right direction. Camara and Stroeykens will not join the internship for the time being, but that may still change.”
In episode 22 of the second season of Tijd voor Voetbal, Sven Vandenbroeck’s statements about the referees and Union are discussed, Nicky Hayen’s transfer to KRC Genk and the penalty phases in Antwerp – Anderlecht. That and much more in Time for Football.
