Yesterday the Andalusian Women’s Team Championship organized by the Andalusian Badminton Federation and the Jorge Guillén Badminton Club was held in Torre de Benagalbón (Málaga); and sponsored by the Ministry of Culture and Sports of the Government of Andalusia and the Hon. Rincón de la Victoria City Council.
Sub-11
In the IF modality Hana Montilla (Benalmádena) won the gold after beating Dayana Galan (IES La Orden) in the final in three sets (11-15/15-5/15-5).
Sub-13
In the IF we had the Almería final after Lucía Álvarez (Almería) and Alba de Juan (Almería) advanced as first in the group and Álvarez won in two rounds (21-10/21-15) and managed to become the winner of the event.
In the DF the Indálica duo formed by Lucía Álvarez and Alba de Juan achieved first place, winning in their most decisive match of the league against the Benalmádenans Nerea Ríos and Yuxuan Zhou (21-16/21-12). Ríos and Zhou, for their part, certified the silver, beating Alba Blanco and África Ferre (Tropisport) in two games (21-14/21-19). And the bronze went to Blanco and Ferre by beating the IES La Orden couple made up of Elsa Díaz and Dayana Galan (4-21/21-12).
Sub-15
In the IF Eva López (Benalmádena) climbed to the top of the podium, beating her teammate Beatriz Huertas in the final (21-15/21-19). Huertas, in turn, previously certified her place in the final by beating Victoria Pérez (Almería) in three sets in the semifinals (11-21/21-12/21-12).
In DF, Beatriz Huertas and Eva López from Benalmádena were the winners of the event after defeating Ainhoa Montiel and Paula Morales (Málaga Evolution/Ronda) in the final (21-14/21-13).
Sub-17
In the IF Ester Iniesta (Málaga Evolution) reached the final directly after advancing as first in the group and there she managed to beat Alejandra Corpas (Sierra Morena) in two sets (21-14/21-12), winning the gold medal. Corpas advanced to the final and left Lucía Noguera (Humilladero) with bronze by beating her in the semifinals (21-12/21-19).
In DF Alejandra Corpas and Elena Gutiérrez (Sierra Morena/Ronda) won gold in the group format after beating Jorge Guillén’s duo composed of Gabriela Becerra and Martina Jiménez in the decisive duel for first place (21-9/21-11). Becerra and Jiménez in turn took silver, beating the Benalmádena couple formed by Ainara Ríos and Zichun Zhou (21-16/21-15), later bronze medalists in the event.
Sub-19
In the IF Natalia Martínez (IES La Orden) finished the event as champion after beating her teammate Bárbara Martos in the final in three even sets (21-23/21-18/21-19). Martos, in turn, left fellow IES La Orden player Marta Vázquez with the bronze after beating her in three games (20-22/21-10/21-14).
In DF Natalia Martínez and Bárbara Martos (IES La Orden) climbed to the top of the podium, beating Lucía Noguera and Marta Vázquez (Humilladero/IES La Orden) in the final (21-11/21-9).
Absolute
In the IF Lucía López (Bad-Flay) won the gold by beating Marta Iniesta (Málaga Evolution) in three sets (21-13/16-21/21-9) in the group format, while Iniesta certified the silver and left Alejandra Morales (Bad-Flay) in third place by winning in two sets (21-3/21-7).
In the DF Ester Iniesta and Marta Iniesta (Málaga Evolution) were the winners of the test, defeating the Bad-Flay duo composed of Lucía López and Marta Iniesta in the final (21-9/21-8).
Senior
In the IF Alicia Saray Torres (Bad-Flay) achieved first place after defeating Julia Fernández (Benalmádena) in the final (21-14/21-16). And Fernández in turn certified the silver by defeating Perrine Emilie Langlois (Aspe) in two sets in the semifinals (21-16/21-15).
In DF María Inés Jiménez and Alicia Saray Torres (Bad-Flay) won gold after beating Inmaculada Aguilar and Perrine Emilie Langlois (Benalmádena/Aspe) in the decisive duel of the league (21-18/21-9). Aguilar and Langlois won the silver, beating Jorge Guillén’s couple made up of Susana Muñoz and Constanza Quijada (21-6/21-4). And in turn, Muñoz and Quijada certified the bronze after beating the Benalmádena Mª Cristina Pastor and Marie Monique Ramjoie (12-21/21-15).
