The San Fernando Handball Club has taken advantage of the Christmas break in official competitions to celebrate the “XX Polvorón Trophy” that took place last Monday the 22nd at the “Manuel Prado” pavilion in Bahía Sur from 5:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.
There is no better excuse to bring together the entire island handball family, with current players participating and others from past eras who at some point were part of the history of our city’s club. Like the previous season, this year there has also been a great participation of parents of players, especially the youngest ones, who have competed with their children on the Bahía Sur court. This handball festival has had participants from juniors to veterans, both in the male and female categories.
To the delight of the little ones, Their Majesties the Three Wise Men visited us, handing out candy and gifts and leading many of them to hope. After the end of this festive tournament, the players, coaches and managers went to a restaurant in our city where they had a dinner to say goodbye to the year. Following tradition, one more year, the C. Bm. San Fernando collaborated with the Red Cross of our city by collecting toiletries and personal hygiene products among the participants.
