The Eagles managed to secure their ticket to the semifinals of the World Sevens Football tournament, a competition in which eight clubs from the continent participated in a 7-a-side football format.

On the first matchday, they faced Nacional of Uruguay and won the match with a score of 5-2, with braces from Jana Gutiérrez, Montse Saldivar, and another goal from Scarlett Camberos.

The second matchday was against San Diego Wave, in a duel where the azulcremas were superior,but due to a lack of finishing, the match ended in a 0-0 draw.

In the end, San Diego Wave took the match with a 1-0 victory in penalties, thus earning the three points.

And to close out the group stage, they faced Deportivo Cali from Colombia, a match they won 3-0 with goals from Kiana Palacios, Sarah Luebbert, and Montse Saldivar.

Their opponent in the semifinal will be Tigres, and the match will be played this Sunday.
