América de Cali already has its sights set on 2026. A week after ending its participation in the BetPlay League, the team led by David González – who will now be able to lead the team as a property – began to make moves on its payroll.
Although the Valle del Cauca team have not announced signings for the next semester, in which they will also play the preliminary phase of the Copa Conmebol Sudamericana, they have confirmed some casualties. They previously reported the departure of Peruvian striker Luis Ramos and this Monday they made official the departure of Venezuelan goalkeeper Joel Graterol and midfielder Sebastián Navarro.

In 2025, Joel Graterol only saved 11 games, after being out the entire first semester due to a tendon rupture that he suffered since 2024. The Venezuelan goalkeeper conceded 8 goals and took his goal out five times.
For its part, Sebastián Navarro played 3,070 minutes in 52 matches between the BetPlay League, the Colombia Cup and the South American Cup. The 25-year-old scored two goals and made two assists. Now he must return to Fortaleza FC, owner of his sports rights.

It is expected that in the coming days, América de Cali finishes announcing its losses, as well as its reinforcements for the next season. His debut in the BetPlay League will be at Pascual Guerrero facing Internacional de Bogotá, a club that will replace La Equidad.
