Ali vs. Jordan vs. Trump: GOAT Debate

December is the month of recaps, best-of shows and elections. The same goes for sports. I also recently took part in three votes. Career paths with “Sportsman of the Year in Germany” and “Sportsman of the Year in Schleswig-Holstein”, privately on the Internet with “Best Athlete of All Time”.

From Michael Jordan to Tiger Woods

Well, with the latter you are spoiled for choice. Hmm? Boxing legend Muhammad Ali, basketball icon Michael Jordan, tennis queen Serena Williams, football god Lionel Messi, golf titan Tiger Woods, super sprinter Usain Bolt? Difficult.

Of course I had the black, red and gold glasses on and placed tennis idol Steffi Graf, Formula 1 giant Michael Schumacher and football emperor Franz Beckenbauer high in the ranking. My favorite, however, was Dirk Nowitzki. A great basketball player and an even better person. In my opinion, “Dirkules” deserved the prize. But in the end, Ali or Jordan will probably decide between themselves the election victory due to their immense importance for their sport and beyond.

The professionals let the arrows fly – and we put our feet up

Unless a certain “would-be golfer” Donald Trump from the USA unexpectedly enters the race for the title. Okay, his athletic ability is limited. But whatever. His close friend, the powerful Fifa boss Gianni Infantino, will find a way to put him on this throne after winning the Fifa Peace Prize.
