ADO Den Haag Vrouwen: Cato Pijnacker Hordijk Contract Terminated

ADO Den Haag and Cato Pijnacker Hordijk have decided in consultation to prematurely terminate the current employment contract. The 23-year-old defender’s contract, which originally ran until mid-2026, will therefore end on January 1, 2026.

Pijnacker Hordijk started her football career at Graaf Willem II VAC, after which she switched to the youth academy of ADO Den Haag Vrouwen. In 2022 she officially made the step to the first team. Ultimately, she played 62 official matches for the Residentie Club.

Cato Pijnacker Hordijk about her time at ADO Den Haag Vrouwen: “I decided to leave the club with a smile and a tear. As a true Hagenean, I am extremely proud that I was able to play for this club. I look back on my time here with great gratitude and am grateful to my teammates and staff for everything we have experienced together. From a sporting point of view, I have always had the ambition to one day play abroad. That opportunity has now presented itself and I feel that the moment has come to play abroad. to embark on a new adventure. To all fans and everyone within the club: thank you very much!”
