AAT Interclubs: First Division League Finals Kick Off

The Finals of the AAT First Division League They had their kickoff this Monday on the fast courts of the Círculo de la Fuerza Aérea, in Vicente López, where great figures of professional tennis provided the setting for an opening with a very good audience presence.

With the eight women’s teams and the eight men’s teams already defined after the Base Round, the fight for the title officially began.

The women’s day opened the action and, led by Martina Capurro and Carla Markus, the defending champion, Asociación Deportes Racionales beat River Plate 2-0. Simultaneously, on court 2, San Lorenzo defeated Náutico Hacoaj also 2-0. With these results, ADR will face Ciclón in the semifinals.

Later the men’s quarterfinals got underway where Harrods, Gath and Chaves, with the presence of Alex Barrena, Guido Andreozzi and Hugo Dellien, defeated Atlético Monte Grande 2-0. In the semifinals they await the winner between Buenos Aires Lawn Tennis Club and Temperley Lawn Tennis Club.

This Tuesday, starting at 10:30, the competition opens on the center court for the Comercio and Ferro Carril Oeste women’s quarterfinals. Starting at 11:45, on court 2, Gimnasia y Esgrima de Buenos Aires will face off against Tenis Club Argentino.

While, in the afternoon on the central court, the gentlemen’s duel between Buenos Aires Lawn Tennis Club and Temperley Lawn Tennis Club is expected, not before 4:00 p.m.

This Tuesday, Tennis Week continues with the quarterfinals of The Finals and with the Tennis Management Congresswhich will feature talks by the vice president of the Argentine Tennis Association, Mariano Zabaleta, the president of Estudiantes de La Plata and the University of Sports Foundation, Juan Sebastián Verón; the executive director of the AAT, Gastón Brum, the General Director of LaLiga for Latin America, Marc Tarradas and Olympic Champion and sports consultant for P1.Sports, Juan Pipa Gutiérrez, among others.
