Olympic Games: neither Estanguet nor Fourcade at the CA des Alpes 2030

According to our information, Tony Estanguet has given up on joining the board of directors of the Organizing Committee for the 2030 Winter Games in France. In a letter that we were able to consult, the boss of the Paris Games informed the president of the Cojo, Edgar Grospiron, of his desire not to sit in order to avoid any potential conflict of interest in the context of his future professional activities. Still according to our information, the six-time Olympic biathlon champion Martin Fourcade has also declined. Estanguet and Fourcade were ex officio members of the Cojo Board of Directors in their capacity as French members of the IOC, in the same way as Guy Drut, David Lappartient and Jean-Christophe Rolland.
