2026 World Cup Tickets: Prices Soar to €171,000+

A study shows that more than six months before the competition, prices are already soaring on resale sites to attend the American World Cup matches.

The 2026 World Cup in the United States will be one of all records, particularly in terms of ticket prices. The SeatPick ticketing platform has analyzed the price of tickets for all matches of the competition on resale sites as a new wave of marketing begins this Thursday at 5:00 p.m. for Europe. Thanks to dynamic pricing that varies prices in real time based on supply and demand, the amounts requested are already reaching new heights.

11,108 euros on average to attend the final

The average price for the World Cup final on July 19 at MetLife Stadium in New York reaches 11,108 euros! Unheard of in the history of sport. This is twice as much as the Champions League final which reached new heights in this area (€6,840). For comparison, the price of tickets for the 2022 World Cup final in Qatar for the Argentina-France clash rose to €1,460. This Friday, the cheapest place for the final was €4,995 and the most expensive, in hospitality, was €171,760.

€317 minimum for a place at a Blues match

French supporters will also have to loosen their purse strings to attend Les Bleus matches. The most affordable ticket for the meeting between France and Senegal on June 16 at MetLife Stadium is currently on offer at €329. For the second match in Philadelphia, and while we still do not know the opponent, prices start at 317 euros. The clash against Norway, on June 26 in Boston, is currently not accessible unless you save €547 on resale sites. Fans of the Tricolores will have every interest in using the ticket office set up by the French Football Federation with lower prices.

The cheapest tickets over €100

To have the chance to experience the World Cup in a stadium with affordable prices, you have to turn to less prestigious matches: 133€ anyway for the poster between Cape Verde and Saudi Arabia or 122€ for the match between Uzbekistan… and an opponent to be defined! Remember, however, that all these prices concern the ticket resale platforms currently available. There is no guarantee that sellers, who are free to freely set the prices of their tickets, will find takers.
