Today (December 6), the closing ceremony of the 2025 International Plate Tennis Tour year-end finals was held at Jiangwan Stadium in Yangpu District. Xu Bin, Party Secretary and Director of the Shanghai Sports Bureau, and Xue Kan, Secretary of the Yangpu District Party Committee, attended the event.
At the scene, Xu Bin and Ding Xianghua, deputy director of the Tennis Management Center of the State Sports General Administration, presented awards to the men’s champion.
Xue Kan and International Plate Tennis Federation (FIP) tournament director Guillermo presented awards to the women’s champion.
Wang Hao, deputy mayor of Yangpu District, and Zheng Jianping, chairman of AF International Sports Group, presented awards to the runner-up in the men’s group.
Sun Wenbing, deputy secretary-general of the Chinese Tennis Association, and Wang Hong, general manager of KIC, presented awards to the runner-up in the women’s group.
Before the closing ceremony, the participants visited the Spanish Cultural Market and the Jiangwan International Paddle Tennis Center, and watched the men’s finals live, cheering for the players.
The International Padel Tennis Tour is a global professional event system officially certified by the International Padel Tennis Federation (FIP). It is currently the world’s largest paddle tennis tour with the widest number of participating countries, representing the highest competitive level of paddle tennis. The 2025 International Paddle Tennis Tour year-end finals held in Yangpu, Shanghai is the first year-end finals of this level to be hosted in Asia and has a landmark international influence. At the same time, combined with the trendy characteristics and social attributes of paddle tennis, Spanish Culture Week themed activities were simultaneously organized and carried out at Jiangwan Stadium to deepen the integration of business, tourism, culture and sports, and further enhance the influence and soft power of regional sports.
