2025 Italian Judo Championships: Titles Assigned

Rome, 14 December 2025 – The day of competitions which animated the PalaPellicone in Ostia for the Absolute Italian Judo Championships 2025. The event recorded a good participation, with 354 total accredited people – 237 athletes and 117 technicians – coming from all over the country to compete for the top titles. The event represented the culmination of national competitive activity, offering a high technical standard.

The women’s sector saw the crowning of the following Italian champions: Francesca Milani (Fiamme Oro) in the 48 Kg, Ilaria Finestrone (Judo Iacovazzi) in the 52 Kg e Thauany David Capanni Dias (CS Carabinieri) neKg57. The titles were also won by Leila Ciano (Fitness New Florida) in the 63 Kg, Caterina Mazzotti (KSDK Parma) in the 70 Kg, Betty Vuk (Judo Tolmezzo) 78Kg and in the category +78 Kg Eleonora Ghetti (Judo Mestre 2001). In the ranking for women’s clubs, success went to Akiyama Settimo, followed by Accademia Torino and Fitness Nuova Florida.

In the men’s competition, the new national champions are Mario Tinelli (Young Talent Academy) in the 60 Kg e Alessio De Luca (CS Army) in the 66 Kg. In the intermediate classes they imposed themselves Federico Bosis (Polisportiva Besanese) in the 73 Kg e Bright Maddaloni Nosa (Golden Flames) in the 81Kg. The titles of the heavy categories were awarded by Cristiano Mincinesi (Fiamme Oro) in 90Kg, Henry Owsu Asare (KSDK Parma). 100 Kg e Daniel Kwadjo Anani (Blue Flames) in the +100 Kg. In the men’s club ranking, Fiamme Azzurre achieved success ahead of Fiamme Oro and Akiyama Settimo.

The sports day was enriched by a significant awards and honors ceremony that brought together the martial arts community. In the presence of the FIJLKAM President Giovanni Morsiani and the President of the Judo Sector Giuseppe Matera, the prestigious degree of Cintura Nono Dan of Judo to the Masters Giancarlo Celotto e Ferdinando Tavolucciin recognition of their extraordinary dedication to the discipline. Further awards were awarded to the Maestro Antonio Bracciante come Meritorious Master for Karate and others Pietro Manca for the awarding of the Eighth Dan. The Federation also honored i Best Judo Referees 2025: they were rewarded Gianfranco Pizzimenti e Federica Cartawith the latter receiving recognition through her mother in a moment of heartfelt participation.
