When the badminton racket cuts through the sky of the stadium, when cross-border friendship heats up in sweat,The 2025 ABeam Global Badminton UNITYship concluded successfully on November 8th at Shenzhen Jianshang Sports Complex!
This sports feast spanning seven countries has “One ABeam” as its original intention and is sponsored by ABeam’s partner, the world-famous badminton brand YONEX.Eight teams and 47 players from ABeam’s global bases, including Thailand, Singapore, Vietnam, Malaysia, Indonesia, South Korea and China, interpreted the “One ABeam” spirit in competition and laughter.
Part.01
Passionate competition and love go in both directions
The global finals lasted for two days, from the Shenzhen office visit and welcome dinner warm-up on November 7 to the full-day showdown on the 8th, every link was full of highlights.
At the opening ceremony, Shenzhen’s characteristic support dance ignited the audience. The speech by Yosuke Nakano, chairman of ABeam Greater China, and the remote support video of group CEO Takahiro Yamada and general managers of various countries made the players excited instantly.
The competition adopts a team round-robin format. Each team needs to face 7 opponents and compete for points through four duels: men’s singles, women’s singles, men’s doubles, and mixed doubles.
On the field, the players switched offense and defense smoothly, and performed brilliantly with smashes, lobs, and volleys in front of the net.In the end, China’s Team A made it all the way to the final, Thailand’s team won the championship with its stable performance, and Malaysia’s team won the third place. Each team showed their tenacious sportsmanship.
In addition to the exciting main game, the fun sessions added to the joyful atmosphere.
The “Run! Run! Run!” badminton relay race and the “Strike! Strike! Strike!” hitting challenge kept the stadium filled with laughter. In the Boss Game, senior executives competed in person and competed with employees, instantly shortening the distance between them.
The most creative one is the DIY old badminton activity. Players draw expressions and sign autographs on damaged badmintons. Based on ESG’s “environmental protection” concept, they turn waste into treasure and incorporate commemorative significance, which ultimately serves as a special souvenir of this competition.

This event is not just a competition, but also a transnational cultural exchange journey.At the welcome dinner on November 7, the authentic Cantonese cuisine and the bright night view of Shenzhen were full of praise for overseas employees who visited China for the first time. During the competition, Team Buddy’s exclusive docking mechanism escorted the teams from all over the world smoothly from landing to departure and return;52 ABeam Shenzhen employee volunteers use their bright smiles and meticulous services to make every guest who comes to Shenzhen feel warm and friendly.
At the awards dinner, as the names of the champion Thai team, runner-up China A team, and third runner-up Malaysian team were announced, the audience burst into applause.The professional prizes and commemorative gifts provided by YONEX add a more ceremonial feel to the event.During the banquet, players from all over the world had friendly interactions, language barriers were resolved with smiles and gestures, and cross-border friendships quietly heated up.

Spiritual inheritance, gathering global power through sports
The successful holding of 2025 ABeam Global Badminton UNITYship,It is not only an ABeam sports event, but also a vivid practice of corporate culture.Following the success of the first event in Bangkok, Thailand last year, the second global finals was successfully held in Shenzhen this year. Before the finals, various strongholds in China held city trials. After layers of screening, the outstanding players joined forces and finally formed the Chinese team to compete in Shenzhen.
also,In the organizational design of this Shenzhen Global Finals, we tried to carry out iterative upgrades and strive to optimize the overall experience of each participant:The newly added pre-match communication link has shortened the cross-border distance, the professional referees and signature confirmation mechanism ensured the fairness of the event, and the rich and interesting activities made the competition more warm.
Although the competition has come to an end, the spirit of “collaboration, respect, and friendship” will continue to be passed on. Players from all over the world returned with precious cross-border friendships, and ABeam’s global connections became closer.
This year, the Korean team has joined as new members, injecting new vitality into this bond.As represented by the spirit of “One ABeam”, this cross-border sports engagement has made every participant deeply realize that we are gathered because of ABeam, we work together because of our love, and we are stronger because of unity.
