2025: A Year for the History Books | Planning & Inspiration

There are years that don’t pass: they remain. They settle in the collective memory, they become a border line between before and after. For the Belluno Dolomites2025 was this. The year in which a project born four seasons earlier from the merger between Belluno, Union Feltre and San Giorgio Sedico completed its leap: from Serie D to professionalism, from the province to the national stage.

OMEN – A twelve month long journey, punctuated by twelve snapshots. January opens on the day of the Epiphany, in Luparense’s house. It was Marangon who scored the first goal of the calendar year: a seal that made the final 1-1 and which, in hindsight, already seems like an omen. February is the month of Carlino’s feat, in a match destined to enter the stories passed down by word of mouth: down 2-0, then 3-2 with seven minutes to go, Dolomiti Bellunesi found the strength in recovery to overturn everything and score an incredible 4-3.

STATURE – In March the escape takes off. The Dolomite league leaders extend their lead to three points and begin to give a clear direction to the championship. April is the month of the symbolic match: Dolomiti Bellunesi-Treviso. The Zugni Tauro stadium in Feltre is a seething basin, the rain falls relentlessly, the result (1-1) does not assign verdicts, but certifies the stature of a team ready to withstand the emotional pressure of big occasions. May is the month of liberation. The 4-1 at Brian Lignano explodes the promotion party: Dolomiti Bellunesi is in Serie C. In June comes the first confirmation that smacks of continuity and belonging: Thomas Cossalter, captain and symbol, renews and becomes the present and future of the project.

CURIOSITY – July marks the beginning of a new adventure. Gathering, enthusiasm, curiosity. And a first prestigious friendly match against Venezia, which ended with two goals scored by a cadet category team: a sign that Dolomiti Bellunesi does not intend to limit itself to participating. August is the month of the official debut among professionals, in the Italian Cup, at the Rigamonti stadium against Union Brescia: a baptism of fire.

CHARACTER AND RESILIENCE – September brings the first victory in Serie C: in Crema, against Pergolettese, it ends 2-1. It is the day in which the Dolomiti Bellunesi understands that it can stay in the category. October then brings the first home success in the new championship: 2-0 against Lumezzane, in front of their own fans. November is marked by the touch of Clemenza, who in the 90th minute scores a very heavy equalizer in Arzignano, the result of character and resilience. And December closes the circle with two victories in quick succession: Inter Under 23 and Pro Patria. Six points that consolidate the path and accompany the team towards the new year with the awareness of having built solid foundations.

BREAKTHROUGH – Twelve months, twelve stages, a single story. That of a company that has been able to grow without losing its identity, bringing the name of the Belluno Dolomites throughout Northern Italy. 2025 will remain the turning point year. And perhaps, even for this reason alone, it will never be an ordinary year.
