The Washington Wizards also lost the basement duel against the Brooklyn Nets in the NBA despite a strong Kyshawn George. The team from the capital had to admit defeat at home 106:129. Both teams had only won one of their first twelve games.
It certainly wasn’t George’s fault that the Wizards lost out again. In addition to 6 rebounds, the Valais native scored 29 points, making him the second-best score in the NBA. He had only been more successful about three weeks ago. He scored 34 points in the 117:107 win at the Dallas Mavericks, the Wizards’ only win so far this season.
Capela and Niederhäuser only spectators
The other two Swiss were just spectators on Monday night. Clint Capela only played a substitute role for the first time this season in the Houston Rockets’ 117:113 overtime defeat against the Orlando Magic. Yanic Konan Niederhäuser did not play for the Los Angeles Clippers in their 118:121 away win against the Boston Celtics for the fifth time in a row.
