Archery Club Ventimiglia Dominates Imperia Competitions with Nine Podium Finishes
Ventimiglia,Italy – The Archery Club Ventimiglia has once again showcased its prowess on the international stage,achieving a remarkable nine podium finishes at the recent 18-meter competition organized by the Arcieri Imperiesi company in Imperia.The extraordinary haul of victories, secured by a dedicated team of nine archers, underscores the club’s commitment too excellence and its growing reputation in the sport.
The competition, held on Sunday, November 9th, saw Ventimiglia archers deliver a masterclass in precision and skill across various categories. The club’s junior archers were especially dominant, with Camilla Padova clinching frist place in the Junior Women’s Olympic Arch division.Not to be outdone, Ludovica Maccario secured the top spot in the Olympic Arch Female Girl category, demonstrating the depth of talent emerging from the club.The boys’ divisions also saw Ventimiglia archers shine. Carlo Martin claimed first place in the Olympic Arch Boy Male category, while the olympic Arch Giovani Olimpico Men’s division became a Ventimiglia sweep. Elia Gallucci led the charge with a first-place finish, followed closely by Noah Jubilee in second and Gabriele Bergamasco in third. The trio of Gallucci,Jubilee,and Bergamasco also secured a commanding first-place finish in the team event for this division,proving their synergy and teamwork.
The Compound Bow divisions were no less impressive. Giulia Aloi celebrated not only a first-place victory in the Junior Female Compound Bow category but also achieved a personal best, a testament to her hard work and dedication. Vittoria Bella continued the winning streak, taking first place in the Female Student Compound Bow division. While Mario Campagnolo finished fifth in the Compound Bow Master Male category, his participation highlights the club’s broad representation across age groups.
The archers were under the expert guidance of instructor Laura lorenzi and archer Michele Foti, who expressed immense pride in their team’s performance. We are incredibly proud of every single archer who competed.Their dedication, focus, and sportsmanship were outstanding,
