Jack Della Maddalena and Islam Makhachev duel at UFC 322

JUARA.NET – Fighter from Dagestan, Islam Makhachev, is ready to face Jack Della Maddalena if he has to fight five full rounds at UFC 322.

Islam Makhachev is preparing to challenge UFC welterweight champion, Jack Della Maddalena.

The duel between the two took place after Islam was willing to give up his lightweight belt.

The champion from Dagestan is scheduled to face JDM at Maddison Square Garden, New York, on Sunday (16/11/2025).

For Islam, this fight is not easy because he has to face a different opponent than before.

Islam trains a lot with bigger fighters than in the lightweight class.

However, on the one hand, Islam does not find it difficult to control body weight.

Considering his posture, he is more suited to fighting in the 170 pound class.

“There is no fighter who has managed to lose weight, for example 10 kg (around 22 pounds), or even more than 10 kg, who has never recovered 100 percent,” said Makhachev, quoted by Juara.net from MMA Fighting.
