Stanimir Stoilov, the coach of Göztepe, who defeated Kasımpaşa 2-0 in the 12th week of the Trendyol Super League, made a statement at the press conference held after the match.

Expressing his views on the match, Stoilov said, “We had a good win. We did not lose our concentration throughout the match and maintained our tactical discipline. We had 3-4 opportunities in the second half. We scored two goals. I am very happy that we won. We got a good win before the break in the leagues due to national matches.”

To the question about Arda Okan Kurtulan’s rising performance, Stoilov said, “He has improved a lot so far. He puts it on every match. He showed perhaps his best performance in this match. He should definitely not lose his motivation and continue to work harder. I hope one day I can have the self-confidence to call the National Team coach and say, ‘I have a special player for you.’ I don’t think Arda Okan is a player of this quality for the national team yet. “Arda should continue to work hard and deserve to be a national team player,” he replied.

Regarding his not going to the stands after the match despite the call of Göztepe fans, the Bulgarian coach said, “They respect me very much. I respect them too and I love them very much. I do not like to go to the stands and join the celebrations during the season. This is my style. I think it is right for me to go to them at the end of the season.”
