It was tense in Bosnia and Herzegovina. A new incident followed at the press conference. Štimac repeated that “the referees ruined the football show for both us and Široka”, and a journalist asked him if he considered it inappropriate what he was talking about referee protection “considering that a man from your club has been at the head of the referee commission for decades”.
A loud argument followed, and at one point Štimac started to make faces and lost his temper. After several minutes of heated discussion, he got up and left the conference.
After 12 games played this season, Zrinjski is first in the Premier League of Bosnia and Herzegovina with 27 points, two more than Borac, who is in second place, but has a game less than Zrinjski. Željezničar from Sarajevo is in third place with 22 points after 12 matches played in the league. Široki Brijeg follows with 19 points after 13 games played, Radnik with 17 after 13 games played, Sarajevo with 15 after 12 games played.
