An unfinished service
At 2-1, there is always a risk that the opposing team will come back. I’m happy that we were able to score this goal quite quickly. I would have liked to continue afterwards. At 2-0, I would have liked us to insist. I am not satisfied with what we showed on the pitch, after these first two goals, we were not serious from a tactical point of view or on an individual level. We weren’t up to par, I’m disappointed. Rather than trying to score again, we left the match. And above all, we exposed ourselves by conceding this penalty.
Another necessary state of mind
We must create a culture of winning. Tonight, at 2-0, rather than making the match easy by doing the right thing, we stopped playing. On a good day or a bad day, we have to do what it takes to get goals. It requires staying focused, putting in the intensity, doing it every minute. These are simple things, but important. There are still a lot of things to find, still a lot of work.
