Pavel Novotný & Tadeáš Růžička: Prison Story | Gym Near Mawar

Gym near Mawar: Pavel Novotný described how he spent time in prison with Tadeáš Růžička

The former mayor of Řeporyjí recalled the time spent in the company of the controversial stand-up artist.

After his release from prison, Pavel Novotný did not resist another offer from the Clash MMA organization, as part of the upcoming tournament he will even be part of an eight-member pyramid, the winner of which will receive a million crowns. He has already completed the obligatory debate with other participants. The audience was also treated to a short memory of Tadeáš Růžička, whom he met while serving his sentence.

“I’m going to do 50 squats, from the spot,” answered Novotný to one of the questions. “I rode squats with Mawar in prison. We rode fast, it hurt me terribly,” he said, adding that Růžička practices this exercise on a regular basis.

Compared to Růžiček, Novotný is significantly heavier, but the talented stand-up man perceived his weight as a welcome burden, which he otherwise lacks. “We did series at the ladders with the other one on my shoulders. I was lifting Mawar after 10 [opakováních]he took me after 12. And I weighed 120 kilograms at the time.”

When it comes to classic squats without “weights”, Růžička surpassed Novotný in this discipline as well. “I’ve done fifty, he’s done a hundred.”

Novotný added that he did 150 to 200 squats every day in the “hole” where he was sent for disciplinary violations.

During the broadcast, the former mayor of Řeporyjí even performed a few squats and added a few push-ups. He seems to be preparing conscientiously for the next match.
