Orvault Archery Club: New President Elected

Two questions to…

Floriane Quily, the new president of the Archers d’Orvault which has, this year, fifty-eight members, including eleven young people.

How long have you been practicing archery?

I have been practicing archery for over fifteen years at Archers d’Orvault. I shoot with a metal bow. I like this discipline for the concentration and rigor it requires, but also for the family and friendly atmosphere of the Orval club. I am taking over the presidency of the club this year, after ten years as a member of the office. It’s a source of pride for me! I am the first female president since the club opened in 1983.

What is your next competition?

Our annual indoor competition will take place Saturday November 29 and Sunday November 30, at the La Cholière gymnasium. We are expecting around 170 archers over the three days. This is a necessary event for the proper functioning of the club for the rest of the year. Spectators are welcome.
