NHL Scores: Palát & Hronek Lead the Way

The hockey NHL traditionally offered a busy program on Thanksgiving Day, but the Czech hockey players did not celebrate the holiday with a point allotment. When the traditionally productive Boston duo David Pastrňák and Pavel Zacha were injured, only two Czechs entered the statistics.

After nine games, forward New Jersey Palát scored two points on Buffalo’s ice, scoring two points in one game for the first time this season. He set up both goals for Arsenije Gricjuk, who had a two-goal night for the first time in his career in the NHL.

New Jersey won for the third time in a row and continues to rule the Eastern Conference with 33 points. Just one point back are Tampa Bay and Carolina.

Vancouver is at the opposite end of the table in the West, with 22 points and is up to thirteenth. Despite unconvincing team performances, defender Hronek remains productive. In the duel, San Jose scored for the third time in a row, and with 16 points, it is in fifth place among Czech hockey players.

The productivity of the Czech hockey players is ruled by Martin Nečas, who came out empty-handed in Friday’s NHL program. He converted his drive against Minnesota in the final shootout, but his teammates did not follow up on him and Colorado fell after ten consecutive wins.

Despite the loss, the Avalanche extended their point streak to 15 games. Furthermore, out of the opening 24 duels of the season, they lost only one in regular time.
