For two days, the Badminton country of Ploërmel will organize the twelfth edition of its Brocéliande tournament. And, this year again, the spectacle should be there on the fields set up at the sports hall. “The room is perfectly suited for this tournament,” explains Gilles Renault.
“An exceptional set”
“We are expecting an exceptional line-up with more than 250 players per day», proudly announces one of the two co-presidents, at the dawn of this “big national tournament. » The one who has chaired the Ploërmelais club for more than 20 years adds: “We have never had such a plateau, especially among the women. »
This 12e edition will be an opportunity to see N2 or N3 players evolve. But the organizers dream of thinking bigger. “We would like to organize a tournament with N1 teams,” says Gilles Renault before adding: “It’s a great goal. You have to have this ambition to grow. »
