Sakarya Metropolitan Basketball team, which hosted Keçiören Municipality Bağlum in the seventh week match of the Turkish Men’s Basketball 2nd League, won with a score of 90-76.

Basketball fans showed great interest in the match played at Atatürk Indoor Sports Hall. Starting the match with the starting five of Murat Osman Dere, Gökhan Aydın, Yavuz Koça, Egemen Usta and Aydın Şirin, the giants of the Metropolitan Municipality started the match ahead by passing the first quarter with a score of 31-18.

Leading the first half with a score of 45-39, the green-blacks never gave up the fight in the second half with the support of their fans and won the match with a score of 90-76. In the match, Melih Kurtay was the top scorer of the match with 22 points on behalf of Büyükşehir, while Murat Osman Dere had 15 points and Aydın Şirin had a share in the victory with 14 points. With this result, the giant men, who finished 7 out of 7 in the league, overcame another obstacle on their way to the championship.
