Deportivo Independiente Medellín and Atlético Nacional tied without goals in the classic paisa of the second day of Group A of the home runs of the BetPlay League 2025-II at the Atanasio Girardot stadium. A very even match with several scoring options, but in which the lack of effectiveness and aim was a constant in both teams.
DIM with better options in the first time
The match started with intensity, Independiente Medellín came out with the intention of winning, but did not have the necessary effectiveness to be able to convert, while Atlético Nacional responded in defense, but in attack it was difficult to generate an opportunity. Marlos Moreno tried from mid-range, but his shot went wide.
One of the clearest of the first half was for DIM. Nacional improves and matches the game
The game was tied for the second half. Atlético Nacional positioned itself better in the rival field and had a couple of plays, one of them at the feet of Alfredo Morelos that went high. For its part, Independiente Medellín did not have the same clarity and it was a little more difficult for them to reach the last quarter of the field.
Brayan León had the opportunity to open the scoring after an error at the start of his rival, but his shot went high. Later Juan Bauzá had a one-on-one to convert for the greens, but Kevin Mantilla made a great finish to avoid the danger.

With this result, Atlético Nacional is first with four points after a game won and one tied, while Independiente Medellín – which has the sporting advantage – is third with one unit. The greens will host Junior de Barranquilla on the next matchday, while DIM will officiate as a visitor against América de Cali.
