Chairman of the National Team Body (BTN) Sumardji ensure four players abroad come to SEA Games 2025. Two of which are included Marselino Ferdinand And Ivar Jenner.

Apart from the two of them, there are also Mauro Zijlstra and Dion Markx. At the moment U-23 Indonesian National Team still making preparations to welcome the SEA Games.

Garuda Muda is undergoing its final training session before leaving for Thailand in the next two days. A total of 24 players took part in the training session at Madya Stadium, Jakarta, Wednesday (26/11/2025).

“Yes,” said Sumardji regarding the certainty of the participation of four players abroad it’s the SEA Games.

“Later, God willing, from here there may be 19 players. But for sure PSSI will be released. Later it will depend on Coach Indra Sjafri to tell us,” he said.

U-23 National Team plans to fly to Chiang Mai, Thailand, on Friday (28/11). Chiang Mai is the venue for Group C for men’s football.

Sumardji projects that the Indonesian National Team will begin to be complete in SEA Games 2025 on November 30 – December 1. He hopes that the plan can run smoothly so that the U-23 National Team squad can prepare optimally.

“Hopefully everything will work out. We hope that everyone can join by November 30 2025. Even if, for example, someone withdraws, maybe December 1 2025 at the latest. Hopefully everyone can join,” said Sumardji.
