With a win against Charles De Ketelaere’s Atalanta, defending champion Napoli has claimed first place in Serie A. Without Romelu Lukaku or Kevin De Bruyne, but with Noa Lang. The ex-Bruges player made his very first for Napoli.
Noa Lang has not yet received much playing time in Naples, but tonight he was allowed to appear in the starting line-up.
After two goals from Brazilian Neres, the left winger demanded his moment. From close range he headed the 3-0 into the goal.
A big relief for Lang: the former Club Brugge player was exuberant in his joy.
Romelu Lukaku also enjoyed it. Napoli’s injured striker jumped straight into the stands when Lang scored.
