Durant’s involvement with Paris Saint-Germain extends beyond footwear.The club announced a strategic partnership with the Olympic champion in June, highlighting his role in diversifying and growing the club’s presence, notably in the United States and other international markets. His expertise is also expected to contribute to PSG’s multi-sport strategy, with a focus on future basketball initiatives.
Reflecting on the partnership, Durant expressed his honor in joining forces with Qatar Sports Investments (QSI) and becoming a shareholder. He stated, It’s an honor to partner with QSI and to be a shareholder of Paris Saint-Germain – a club and a city that are deeply close to my heart.
This investment also builds upon his existing indirect stake through the American investment fund Arctos.
