Young Judokas Shine at 49th International Werdenberg Autumn tournament

The mats were alive with the spirit of competition as judokas across student, youth, and junior categories battled for supremacy at the 49th annual International Werdenberg Autumn Tournament. Held in Buchs, Switzerland, this conventional event drew a robust field of 280 participants, making it a significant highlight for athletes hailing from Switzerland, Liechtenstein, Austria, Germany, and France.

A Night of Judo Entertainment

Similar to last year’s prosperous event, participants of all ages showcased their judo prowess in various training groups. A humorous theatrical performance, featuring judo-themed acts, captivated the audience. A crowd favorite, the continuation of the “David vs. Goliath” narrative, concluded with an inspiring message: David and Goliath joining forces to impart the art of judo to aspiring young practitioners.
