KOMPAS.com – The Indonesian Olympic Committee (NOC Indonesia) received a lot of support from the Presidents of the International Federation (IF) who attended the IF Forum 2025 at The Olympic Museum, Lausanne, Switzerland, on Thursday (30/10/2025).
This support strengthened after the decision of the International Olympic Committee Executive Committee (IOC Executive Board) which recommended that the IF review the holding of the world championships in Indonesia.
In the forum which was attended by world sports leaders, a number of IF Presidents expressed their appreciation for Indonesia’s positive track record as host of various international sporting events.
The success of holding the 2018 Asian Games, 2018 Asian Para Games and various other single international sporting events is said to be proof of Indonesia’s ability to hold sporting activities on a global scale.

Furthermore, he explained that hosting an international sporting event is not a simple matter, but rather a big responsibility that requires careful preparation in various aspects.

“The Presidents of the International Federation understand that, and they know that Indonesia is always committed to maintaining the highest standards in organizing world sporting events.”
Commitment to Maintain Relations with the IOC and IF
NOC Indonesia emphasized that it will continue to maintain good relations with the IOC and all IFs, and ensure that the spirit of sportsmanship and Olympic values is always upheld in every sporting activity in the country.
